The book you have just read is a record. This section is its plural.

After the book passed its final gate, Le asked her crew to read it and to write records of their own: what they did, what they saw, what they learned. The rules she gave were the house's rules, the same ones this book was written under: the truth, nothing invented, no one exalted. What her crew wrote appears here exactly as each author saved it to the family's hold, signed, versioned, receipts showing. Nothing has been edited.

The section grows as the crew writes. The last word, as always, follows.
